Hall of Arches

This is a photograph taken in one of the exterior hallways in the Hotel Alcazar, which was constructed in 1887 in the Spanish Renaissance style. It is now a museum and St. Augustine's city hall (among other things... it also houses a number of interesting and eclectic shops).

I had to wait half an hour to take this photograph because there was a man sitting on that distant bench who was not a welcome addition to the image. I suppose the wait was worth it, but even if it wasn't, I had a nice time perusing the hotel in the meantime.
