A Door Within a Door

This is a detail of a hatch I found in the center of a large door at Fort Pulaski National Monument. I'm not entirely certain how you'd open it, but I'm assuming the center piece is a latch of some sort and this would open to the right. Anyway, I just loved the textures and colors here, and thought I'd share.
