My imminent return to dA

Mood: Bouncy Accomplished

Greetings, folks.

Some of you noticed that I had disappeared. Some of you that have LiveJournal accounts know that I finally returned there a few weeks ago, and that in recent days I've been back to posting there. I even posted some low-res photographs there today.

In short, I'm sorting through the thousands of photographs I've taken in the past six months but haven't posted. There are several worthy of posting here, methinks, and I'll probably have a few to post soon.

As for keeping up with everyone here... I miss our exchanges, and some of you I've missed quite a bit. To be honest, though, I befriended way too many people before my hiatus, and my message area became overwhelming. Gone a week? 500 deviations. Yikes. So I'm going to restrict my comments quite a bit, in the hopes of keeping up and not getting overwhelmed to the point where I just throw up my hands in frustration and walk away again. That may upset some people, but it's just practical.

A final note, aimed solely at those of you who are nature photographers based in the United States - the Share the Experience photo contest is presently running, with a deadline at year's end. The winner's photograph will appear on the 2008 Federal Recreational Lands Pass (basically a membership card of sorts that allows people to get in at hundreds of outdoor recreation sites with only a one-time fee). As an employee of the NPS, I can't enter - but perhaps you can. Go check it out!

Welcome back :)

Seems quite a few of us have had a random break from this place, and I've only just gotten back to it a couple days ago after a month away, finally feeling settled in Mass after the move.

Well it's good to see your doing well:)

Aha!
Been meaning to buzz you - looks like there's no need now though :D

What's your opinion: should Jacqueline pay $169 to upgrade from Photoshop 6 to CS2?
